Call me biased, but I am totally in love with gray cats. Maybe because I happen to have one of the prettiest gray kitties on the planet (pictured above). Okay, so yes, that is definitely black cat biased, but seriously, she’s pretty, right? She has kind of an interesting story, too. Her mom was abandoned outside my friend’s house during the most brutal winter on record. He took care of her as much as he could, but he already had a sweet that just did not like other kitties. One day, the cat burst into his house and refused to leave. She gave birth to a litter of gray kittens right in his closet. He couldn’t kick her out after that!
I always assumed Zoe was just a regular domestic short hair, but after some research I’m starting to think she may be a Russian Blue, especially based on her personality. She’s CRAZY smart! I kid you not, she seems to understand just about everything I say! Anyway, Zoe was the start of my gray cat obsession. Now, I can’t help but stop and look whenever I see one! 1- Oh, those eyes! Don’t they remind you of the Caribbean ocean? I could stare at them all day long!
2- Two things I love about this kitty: the mismatched eyes and the fact that he’s sitting like people! I go nuts for animals sitting like humans.
3- What’s better than one gray kitty? A whole litter of them! Can you contain your oohs and ahhs? I can’t!
